Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce partners with NWCRC to increase Cyber resilience for SMEs

Businesses have an appetite to increase their cyber awareness and grow their resilience to the latest online crimes. Today, the North West Cyber Resilience Centre (NWCRC), announces its strategic partnership with the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce (GMCC), the largest accredited Chamber of Commerce in the UK.

This new partnership, allows GMCC members to take advantage of our free Membership, as well as the option to take advantage of tailored paid memberships and cost-effective cyber services.


Commenting on the new partnership, Director of the North West Cyber Resilience Centre, Neil Jones said “The Cyber Resilience Centre is delighted to be working with the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce to help protect our business community from online crime by providing trusted, government-backed guidance and support.

"The cybercrime threat to start-ups, micros, family businesses and SMEs has never been greater, with cybercriminals taking advantage of the pandemic to carry out damaging attacks on businesses of all sizes as they increasingly work online"

Working together, the Cyber Resilience Centre and the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce combine a wealth of skills and experience to provide easily accessible, practical, trusted support to help where it’s most needed.“

The Cyber Resilience Centre have a range of support and services for all-size businesses and it's vital that everyone does as much as they can to prevent an attack from happening rather than try and pick up the pieces afterwards.”

“As we move out of the worst parts of the pandemic and hopefully into a period of growth this partnership is a great way of adding in that extra element of safety and security and is one less thing for businesses to worry about.”
